About the Artist
Casey Scott is a self-taught artist based in Orange Beach, Alabama. Originally from Birmingham, Casey relocated to the Gulf Coast in 2014 and quickly fell in love with what he describes as Life in paradise.
Although he has been painting and drawing for most of his life, Casey began pursuing art more seriously in 2026 after a battle with lung cancer. That experience gave him a renewed appreciation for creativity, family, and finding joy in everyday moments, realizing how quickly it can all end.
By day, Casey works in commercial internet sales. Outside of work, he creates vibrant pop-surreal coastal artwork inspired by the places, wildlife, and culture of the Gulf Coast. His paintings blend local landmarks, marine life, and imaginative elements into colorful scenes designed to capture the feeling of being at the beach.
Casey's signature Daybreak and Nightfall collections explore the same subjects through two different moods—one bright, airy, and optimistic, the other bold, dramatic, and dreamlike. The series represents the first artistic concept he feels truly proud to call his own.
Inspired by his beautiful wife, Sam, his sons Mason and Maddox, his wonderful doggies Molly and Oliver, and the beauty of coastal living, Casey creates artwork with one simple goal: to make people smile. Whether it's a glowing jellyfish, a whimsical coastal landmark, or a surreal beach scene, he hopes each painting brings viewers the same feeling of peace, happiness, and escape that comes from spending a perfect day on the Gulf Coast.
Through every brushstroke, Casey celebrates the people, places, and memories that make life meaningful.
